PLATINO / Container guide

Equipment starts with the cargo.

An introduction to container families. Final selection requires confirmation of dimensions, weight, access and the specifications of available equipment.

Let’s talk

Usable capacity must be checked against your cargo

Nominal size is not enough. Check door access, stowage, concentrated weight and loading equipment. A container may reach its weight limit while volume remains available.

  • Dry and High Cube: general cargo and volume needs.
  • Reefer: product, temperature, ventilation and stowage need specific assessment.
  • Open Top and Flat Rack: assess loading access, oversize dimensions, support and securing.
  • Structural capacity is not the same as permitted road or terminal weight.
